Boss	Cemetery Shade Black Knife Assassin

Follow the road leading northeast from the Ruined Labyrinth Site of Grace to Black Knife Catacombs. The entrance to this dungeon is guarded by a strong knight enemy.

Defeat Black Knife Assassin

This fight with the Black Knife Assassin is in a cramped room, so it's unlikely you'll have time to do any summoning. The Black Knife Assassin has a big advantage with her aggressive fighting style, so keep your shield up and try to get some space when you need to recover stamina.

Once defeated, she will drop the Assassin's Cerulean Dagger and the Black Knifeprint. The Black Knifeprint is used in both Rogier's and Fia's questlines.

In the room with the guillotines, wait until the middle guillotine has come down, then stand on left side and ride the blade up to a secret room. The boss fight is hidden behind an Illusory Wall, so strike it to reveal the mist door.

How to Beat Black Knife Assassin

Defeat Cemetery Shade

Web Sling is an extremely strong attack that can result in instant death if it connects. A good way to manage this attack is to always have Cemetery Shade in view throughout the fight. You can easily time your dodge by observing the web being conjured above its head.

Once defeated, it will drop the Twinsage Sorcerer Ashes. There is also a chest in the boss room containing a Deathroot that you can give to Gurranq in Caelid.

How to Beat Cemetery Shade

Obtain Rosus' Axe

Rosus' Axe can be found by using a Stonesword Key to unlock the mist door on the left halfway down the first tunnel.
