Stormfoot Catacombs can be easily accessed by heading north from Church of Elleh. There's a guard in front of the cave sitting at a campfire, so either sneak past or eliminate him first.

Stormfoot Catacombs Walkthrough

1 At the first fork, turn right. In the next room, turn left.
2 Continue straight ahead, then turn right at the end. Time your run by running at the flames as soon as they start to dissipate You can get behind the furnace and attack it to stop the flames.
3 Go straight and enter the passage on the right. Be careful not to go too far as there is another flame in the passage.
4 Continue straight ahead and enter the passage on the right.
5 Climb the ladder.
6 Go straight ahead and get the Ashes of War Wandering Noble Ashes in the crypt.
7 Head back to where there were two imp enemies and drop down to where there is a foothold.
8 Pull the lever, then backtrack to the beginning of the dungeon.
9 Erdtree Burial Watchdog is behind the door that is now open. Save at the Site of Grace then head in when you're ready.

Keep the Boss in the Center

It's easy to get cornered when Erdtree Burial Watchdog floats up, so try to keep the boss in the center of the room as you strafe around it. Its Flamethrower attack is the most dangerous move in its arsenal, so watch its mouth for the telltale flames builing up and get back.
