The entrance to Gaol Cave lies on the eastern side of Fort Gale through the poison swamp. Look for the door in the rock wall blocked by a wall of mist that requires a Stonesword Key to open.

Defeat Frenzied Duelist

Obtain the Pillory Shield

Obtained in one of the cells inside. Use the lever first, then from the lever area jump down and enter the first cell you find on the northern side. You should see two lootable corpses in there. One contains an Old Fang and the other has the Pillory shield.

Obtain the Wakizashi

You can obtain the Wakizashi after unlocking one of the locked cells.

Defeat Frenzied Duelist

The Frenzied Duelist is the boss of this area and has slow but wide-reaching attacks. Fortunately, he'll only be targeting his front, so you can deal plenty of damage if you successfully get behind him.

On defeat he will drop the Putrid Corpse Ashes.

Obtain the Regalia of Eochaid

Obtained from the cliffs near the Third Church of Marika. To obtain it, however, you'll have to defeat the Frenzied Duelist. At the end is a tunnel leading to the lootable corpse that contains the Regalia of Eochaid.
