As the starting area, Stranded Graveyard serves as the place where the game will familiarize you with button controls, how to use items, and what you can do at Sites of Grace. Make your way through the Stranded Graveyard, and once you've beaten Soldier of Godrick, step out into Limgrave and start your journey.

Beat Soldier of Godrick

Soldier of Godrick shouldn't be much of a challenge, so take this as a chance to get comfortable with the basics of combat. Try to dodge Soldier of Godrick's attacks by rolling in all directions.

It's also worth trying to parry and guard counter, two valuable defensive skills that will safe your life once master them.
How to Beat Soldier of Godrick

Access Fringefolk Hero's Grave

You'll notice a myserious set of arches shrouded in a wall of inpenetrable mist next to the Site of Grace. You can use a Stonesword Key at the Imp Statue to access Fringefolk Hero's Grave, a challenging dungeon with rare items.
