The Boot Knife is best used as an alternative to save the durability of your own knife, it is also far more durable than the Kitchen knife, making it a better choice for the harder areas in the game.
While the Boot Knife has slightly higher durability than the Kitchen Knife, it still has lower durability than the Combat Knife. Be mindful of how you use it, and try not to use it to break free from a grapple or kill a downed enemy, as they can shatter the Boot Knife quickly.
Knife Durability: Do Knives Break?
The Boot Knife can survive several parries, so it's one of the best ways to use it in the game. It's not as sturdy as the Combat Knife, but it will serve its purpose and allow you to defend yourself.
However, defending a stronger attack from elite mobs or bosses will cause the Boot Knife to lose durability fast, so dodge their attacks if you can!
Although sneak attacks can remove a lot of the Boot Knife's durability, it will be worth doing as it guarantees an instant kill against enemies. You can eliminate at least two enemies with the Boot Knife by doing sneak attacks, saving you precious resources, especially ammo.
