This guide will explain how to use Sites of Grace to save your game in the game Elden Ring. Read on to learn more about everything you can do at a Site of Grace, including level up, store items, pass time, and more!
Sites of Grace are rest points in the game where your character can restore HP, FP, and heal any status ailment. Press the △ / Y button on your controller when you approach a Site of Grace. This will bring up the Site of Grace menu and let you rest. For Sites of Grace that you haven't reached yet, they will be seen as spots that emit rays of light.
Stakes of Marika are statues found in the game that act as respawn points. When you die, you respawn at the last Site of Grace where you rested. You also have the option of respawning at a Stake of Marika, if there is one near the place you died.
Some of the Sites of Grace that you find will create a golden trail on your map that will guide you to your next objective. Open your map if you get lost and follow the Guidance of Grace and see where it leads you to!
You can travel between Sites of Grace by opening your map and selecting the desired location. However, this is not possible while you are in combat and the only way to return to the last Site of Grace you visited is by using a Vision of Grace.
Pass Time | Move time forward in the game |
---|---|
Level Up | Level up and enhance your character's stats |
Add Charge to Flask | Increase the number of times you can use your flask |
Increase Amount Replenished by Flasks | Enhance the flask's restorative effect |
Distribute Flask Charges | Allocate the number of charges for your sacred flasks |
Great Runes | View and equip Great Runes obtained from main Bosses. |
Memorize Spell | Equip magic you've learned in the memory slots to use in the game |
Mix Wondrous Physick | Mix acquired crystal tears to customize the effects of Flask of Wondrous Physick |
Sort Chest | Store items in and remove items from the chest |
If you're already familiar with previous Souls games, bonfires and Sites of Grace are basically the same thing. Resting at a Site of Grace will refill all your sacred flasks. However, resting at a Site of Grace also means defeated enemies will once again respawn.

The game auto saves all the time, why's the title acting like it's related to the grace, lmao. You can literally complete the game without touching them.
