Move and Defend While Attacking

Most of Pirate King's Chest Crab's attacks are avoidable if you do not stand still. Ranged users can move side-to-side while melee users can circle around the enemy to avoid the brunt of attacks.

Pirate King's Chest Crab has the Innate Defense buff, which boosts all its defenses up. Just keep chipping away at its health and do not stray too far from it so it would not regenerate health.

Pirate King's Chest Crab has one Fury Attack that is difficult to predict and dodge away from, so be prepared to defend anytime.

How to Block and Parry

Melee and Ranged Attacks

Pirate King's Chest Crab's attacks are very limited, but the damage can stack quite a bit if you keep tanking it. Keep moving to sustain damage while also avoiding it.

Note: The ranged attack does not give the Wet effect despite it being a ball of water.

Pull and Knockback Fury Attack

Pirate King's Chest Crab has one Fury Attack that will pull you in and knock you into the air. The resulting fall damage from this attack is quite sizeable. Make sure to defend from this Fury Attack once you see the purple indicator show up.

Morph Glide When Knocked Into Air

If you do get knocked into the air, glide morph before falling so you do not take any fall damage.

Pirate King's Chest Crab Spawn Locations and Spawn Time

Pirate King's Chest Crabs spawn in three specific locations of Daybreak Shore, all being near the shore.

Elite enemies, like the Pirate King's Chest Crab, may respawn within ten to five minutes after being defeated, depending on the version of your game. They can spawn at any time of the day in their respective locations.

How to Find Starlight Firefly

All Around Daybreak Shore

Starlight Fireflies can easily be found scattered along Daybreak Shore. They are not just limited to the designated quest areas on the map as well, so you can find them outside those areas. You can find a lot of them nearer to the shore.

Note: To complete this objective, you must defeat them during nighttime. Depending on your version of the game, you will have to defeat around five to twenty of them.

Morph to Walk Around Undisturbed

Hermit Crabs and Iron Chestaceans can be pesky to deal with as they are hostile on-sight. You can morph into any crustacean in order to walk right past them while you hunt for Starlight Fireflies.

Where to Find Collection Page

There are four total Collection: To Pirate King Adelico pages scattered around Daybreak Shore. The closest one to the Daybreak Shore Waypoint is the To Pirate King Adelico 3 page, located to the southeast of the waypoint.
