Tevent's Warblade of Despair is the Best Greatsword in Throne and Liberty. It offers Strength and Dexterity, allowing players to reach stat breakpoints, as well as Stun Chance to synergize with its Weapon Skill. This weapon can be used in both DPS and Tank Builds to great effect.
Best Traits For Greatsword
Critical Hit Chance, Heavy Attack Chance, and Hit Chance
All Greatswords available in the game of Uncommon rarity and above right now can have the Traits Critical Hit Chance, Heavy Hit Chance, and Hit Chance. These are the best traits to add to your weapons.
Critical Hit Chance increases the possibility that your attacks will deal max damage. Heavy Hit Chance, on the other hand, increases the chance that your attacks will deal double damage. Lastly, Hit Chance increases the chance that your attacks and status effects will hit.
Other Traits Can be Selected When Needed
Although the above traits are the best Traits to get, there are times when you may need to select other traits. Alternative traits include Max Health and Health Regen for survivability, Max Mana and Mana Regen for Mana management, and Buff Duration for Buff Uptime.
How to Play Greatsword
The greatsword is a versatile weapon that is geared towards tanks, but can also be used for DPS builds. Its kit revolves around stunning or inflicting frost to enemies, to empower high damaging skills such as Guillotine Blade and Frost Cleave. This weapon holds passives that synergize with players building Max Health, allowing tanks to focus their build and still deal damage.

Levels and progress from your previously used weapons can be fed directly into weapons that were recently acquired. Note that weapons can be fed only to other weapons one rarity above.
