Fortitude is a new stat introduced in Throne and Liberty (TL) during the Call of the Spear Update. Learn more about Fortitude, what it does, and how to increase it here.
List of Contents
Fortitude is a brand new stat introduced during the Call of the Spear update which aims to increase a player's survivability. Increasing Fortitude increases the player's Endurances, Crowd Control (CC) Resistances, and Magic Defense.
Additionally, Fortitude will also increase your Minimum and Maximum Damage, allowing you to increase your survivability without sacrificing much in terms of damage.
As with the other stats in the game, Fortitude has its own Breakpoint effects, giving you additional buffs for every 10 points invested in Fortitude (starting from 30 points)
One breakpoint that people should definitely take note of is when it hits 40 points. It provides a hefty boost to Magic Defense, which narrows the gap between melee and ranged durability on most builds.
This makes tanks a bit more survivable against mages, and can be the difference between life and death in PvP.
Fortitude | Effect |
---|---|
30 | Endurance 100 |
40 | Magic Defense 200 |
50 | Heavy Attack Evasion 100 |
60 | Endurance 120 |
70 | Endurance 60 CC Resistances 100 |
As with other Stats in the game, you can increase your Fortitude by investing Stat Points into it.
If you have already distributed all of your Stat Points, you can respec your stats for free to reassign your Stat Points.
How to Respec Stats and Skills
Some of the new equipment that were introduced in the Call of the Spear update, specifically the Spears and the Gilded Raven Armor set from the 2-star Co-op Dungeons, provide the player with additional Fortitude.
