What Are Waypoints?

Waypoints are obelisks that allow you to travel in far distances for a price. These waypoints are scattered throughout the map and are tied to a specific region in the world.

How to Fast Travel

Activate Waypoints

The first step in fast traveling is to activate as many waypoints as you can. You can only fast travel to a waypoint that you've already unlocked. Waypoints are activated by interacting with them for the first time. This will trigger a short cinematic that “opens” the region on your map.

Once opened, you can now travel to these regions for a price if you are still under level 30.

Fast Travel is Free for Players Below Level 30

Once you reach Level 30, fast travel will no longer be free. The cost of will depend on the desired destination's location. Some areas, despite being nearer to your location may be more expensive than a place farther away.

Saurodoma Island Waypoint is a Timed Event

Getting to Saurodoma requires the Gigantrite. Gigantrite only appears in-game every 3 real-life hours. Check the Events tab in your map and look for a whale icon to see its schedule in your local time zone.
