Intimidating Breath is an Exploration quest in Throne and Liberty (TL). Learn how to defeat a trapped basilisk, the locations of Giant Crystal Scorpions, and the rewards upon quest completion!

How to Defeat a Trapped Basilisk

Traps and Basilisks Location
You can find Basilisks and traps together in the designated quest area on the map and minimap, indicated by a blue circle.
Note: Beware of the various hostile mobs that are also in the area, notably the Mandrakes, Deadly Mandrakes, and Sand Scorpions. They will attack you on-sight.
Lower Basilisk Health Before Trapping
Before luring the Basilisk in a trap, make sure you have lowered its health to where it is almost depleted. This is because Basilisks only remain in the trap for five seconds, making your window to defeat a trapped one quite small. Cancel from attacking the Basilisk by clicking the X beside its HP bar or by morphing.
Lure Basilisk Into Trap Then Defeat It in 5 Seconds
Right as the Basilisk's HP is depleted, lure it into a trap. You will know that it is trapped if it has a blue glow on it. Within five seconds, defeat one while it is trapped to finish the objective.
Giant Crystal Scorpion Locations
Six Different Spawn Points
Giant Crystal Scorpions spawn in six different areas in the Abandoned Stonemason Town region. They respawn after ten minutes upon defeat in their respective locations.
Giant Crystal Scorpion Combat
Giant Crystal Scorpion's attacks are melee-centered so focus on moving while attacking. Take note that it can tunnel down into the ground and come up next to you if you stray too far.
Being a Wildkin Common Elite enemy, Giant Crystal Scorpion has the Innate Defense buff, which boosts all its defenses up. Keep chipping off its health and do not go too far from its spawn so it would not regenerate health.
Giant Crystal Scorpion can conjure a small sandstorm that reduces your movement speed if you are caught in it, so dodge roll away from it. It also has two Fury attacks, one can poison you and the other can stun you. Defend from these Fury attacks and you will be fine.
Defeat one Giant Crystal Scorpion to finish the objective.
