This is a guide on the Infiltrator Longbow and Dagger build for PvE in Throne and Liberty (TL). This guide shows how to effectively use the Infiltrator Longbow and Dagger to inflict high single-target damage, including the best gears to equip, skill rotations, runes, traits, and more.

The Longbow and Dagger build focuses on applying multiple stacks of Thunderclouds and Gale to a marked enemy before blinking in to execute the target. This build uses a hit-and-run playstyle, rewarding players who can successfully execute their skill rotations.

This build will require full investment into Dexterity and Perception, making sure the player hits 70 and 50 on them respectively. This is to max out the hit rate, and attack speed for this build, and gain bonuses from stat breakpoints such as Critical Hit, Hit Rate, Range, etc.. Extra stat points can be reallocated into 50 Strength and 30Wisdom.

Poison lasts for 6s and deals 2.3% of Base Damage + 1 damage per stack every second, while decreasing Health Regen by 4% per stack. Stacks up to 20 times. Reusing the skill within 9s will trigger a stabbing attack with the both hands, where stab inflicts 90% + 3 damage, and then turn to inflict additional 135% + 5 damage. The turning attack is increased by 2% per each Poison stack.

Thunderclouds Bombing Deals 240% of Base Damage +74 damage, and removes the target’s Thunderclouds effect. The damage is amplified by 15% against bosses. When the target’s remaining Health is 50% or less, Critical Hit increases by 600. Block Blade Block Blade Defends against attacks. On defending against a Fury Attack while stationary, 180 Mana regenerates. On Defending against a Fury Attack within 0.5s, Block Blade changes to Poison Dagger for 3s. Wrath Attacks can’t be defended. Use with the directional buttons to defend against attacks while moving 4m to the designated direction for 0.5s. Becomes Stealthed for 3s to make yourself unable to be targeted and increase Mana Regen by 450 after defending against Fury or Wrath Attack. Block Blade changes to Poison Dagger. The first attack while Stealthed is a Critical Hit. Stealth ends when you attack or morph. Poison Dagger: Throws up to 5 daggers at enemies within a 5m radius, dealing 100% damage and applying Weaken: Poison. Distributes the attack if there are multiple enemies within range.

Inject Venom, Deadly Marker, and Strafing are the bread and butter of this build, quickly applying Thunderclouds stacks. Zephyr's Nock and Ensnaring Arrow can be used for an extra burst of damage and should be used when available. Flash Arrow can be used to briefly stun a horde of enemies before repositioning
Once the enemy is below 50% health, use Shadow Strike, Fatal Stigma, Umbral Spirit, and Frenzied Sword Dance to deliver the final blow. Nature's Blessing can be used to recover health. When levelling skills, always max out and prioritize Zephyr's Nock, Strafing, Inject Venom, and Deadly Marker.
Destructive Fang and Murderous Energy increase Thunderclouds uptime and damage bonuses from skill specializations.
Assassin's Instincts, Wrathful Edge, Steady Aim, Roxie's Arrowhead, and Sniper's Sense should be taken as they provide a consistent damage boost. Additionally, Shadow Walker increases your defenses and evasion when using mobility skills.
Prioritize Destructive Fang, Murderous Energy, Wrathful Edge, and Assassin's Instincts when levelling passive skills.

This synergizes with Shadow Strike, as well as its skill specialization Shadow Escape. Take offensive traits and resonances such as Critical Hit, Attack Speed, and Hit to boost the DPS of this build.

Equipping the Death Set provides additional Critical Damage, while the Imperator Set will provide Melee Heavy Attack Chance, which will increase the damage output of your Dagger skills.
For accessories, Slayer's Quicksilver Pendant and Ancient Saurodoma Bracers are taken for the extra boost to Evasion given. Amber Dimensional Band, Band of Universal Power, and Belt of Bloodlust all provide boosts to Strength and Dexterity, allowing you to reach stat breakpoints.
Prioritize traits that boost damage, attack speed, and mana. Traits that give evasion and CC resistance are also recommended for more survivability.

The advent of runes made it possible to achieve multiple stat breakpoints in builds that were unattainable prior to their release.
Prioritize getting Critical Hit Chance, Heavy Attack Chance, and Hit Chance to increase your overall damage output. Get Max Health for more survivability, as well as Weaken Chance and Mana Cost Efficiency to help with your skills.
For Rune Synergy, prioritize getting Strength and Dexterity to help with hitting the needed breakpoints. Partner these with Added Attack Speed and Cooldown Speed.

Lightning Infusion is a non negotiable. Target under Deadly Marker is also viable. Consecutive Use and Gale under Strafing is required to maximize Gale stacks. Lastly, take Damage ▲ under Zephyr's Nock.

Activate Inject Venom to inflict Thunderclouds during the combo. Then, activate Flash Arrow to briefly stun enemies before blinking into melee range with Shadow Strike. Finish off the combo with Frenzied Sword Dance to inflict AOE damage and more Thunderclouds stacks in a group of targets.
Flash Wave under Flash arrow provides a wider AOE. Shadow Escape under Shadow Strike is also a necessity to ensure an escape.
Lightning Infusion Adds Weaken: Thunderclouds effect to all attacks for 9s. Thunderclouds lasts for 6s, and decreases Melee, Ranged, Magic Endurance by 6 per stack. Stacks up to 20 times. Reusing the skill within 9s will trigger a stabbing attack with the both hands, where stab inflicts 110% + 4 damage, and then turn to inflict additional 240% + 9 damage. Applies Weaken: Thunderclouds to every target within a 3m radius of the target.

Thunder Spirit Deals 35% of Base Damage + 4 Bonus Damage to the target if your attack was a Melee Critical Hit for 6s. If the target is affected by Wet or Thunderclouds, inflict 28% of Base Damage + 3 to 2 random enemies within a 5m radius of the target.

Fatal Stigma Marks the target, decreasing Incoming Heal by 60% for 3s. Deals 325% of Base Damage + 51. Deals 3% additional damage per stack against targets you have applied Poisoned or Thunderclouds to. The damage is amplified by 40% against bosses.

Thunderclouds Bombing Deal 180% of Base Damage + 37 damage, and removes the target's Thunderclouds effect. The damage is amplified by 15% against monsters. When the target's remaining Health is 50% or less, Critical Hit Chance increases by 600. If the target is affected by Weaken: Thunderclouds, they take 36% + 7 Bonus Damage and the damage is boosted by 100% per stack. Critical Damage increases by 20%.

Blink into melee range with Shadow Strike, activating Umbral Spirit and Fatal Stigma to boost your DPS before activating Frenzied Sword Dance. After that, activate Brutal Incision when the enemy is below 50% HP.
Blink away with Shadow Escape, or reposition again to start the ranged skill rotation, and cycle between these two.
For skill specialization, Lightning Spirit under Umbral Spirit can be taken to maximize Thunderclouds stacks. Lastly, take Thundercloud Bombing under Brutal Incision to deal bonus damage to targets with the Thunderclouds debuff.
