Throne and Liberty - Taedal

Thieves and Retrievers is the 15th Floor of Taedal's Tower in Throne and Liberty (TL) where you must fight Dren. Read on to see an overview of Dren as well as the possible rewards and drops upon completion!

How to Beat Dren

Dren Mechanics

Permanent Guardian Form

Taedal

Upon entering the floor, you will have to interact with the light to start the battle. This will transform you into another being, similar to how Guardian Summons work. You will still have access to your skills and weapons, with the only drawback being that you are unable to morph.

Invisible Maze

Dren will stun the player and teleport them to the edge of the arena. The player must then make it to the opposite end while avoiding semi-invisible clones of Dren, in order to reactivate the light and restore some health.

Dren Attack Patterns

Fast Fury Attack

Dren launches a Fury Attack with a fast wind-up. The damage is negligible but can still be parried with a defensive skill.

Stunning Fury Attack

Dren launches a Fury Attack with a slower wind-up. This will stun the player, leaving them susceptible to damage. Always try to parry this with a defensive skill.

Blood Shower

Dren highlights an area before making blood rain, dealing damage to the player while inflicting bleed. The AOE of this attack is a line, and can be stepped out of. Dren will soon chase after you himself.
