As a healer, the main goal is to keep the party alive, and this build excels at that. Thanks to Clay's Salvation, Fountain of Life, Flash Arrow, and Swift Healing, there would be no shortage of heals.
Offering a lot of flexibility, the build can be tuned for more utility, healing, or damage.
Stat | Total | Points From Lvl. | Points From Gear |
---|---|---|---|
Strength | 31 | 9 | 12 |
Dexterity | 30 | 13 | 7 |
Wisdom | 52 | 16 | 26 |
Perception | 50 | 11 | 29 |
Note: Base stats are always 10!
Prioritize pumping points into Wisdom as it provides mana, mana regeneration and reduced cooldowns. Reaching 50 Wisdom provides Cooldown Speed 5%, which can make a big difference in managing the cooldowns of vital healing skills.

The wand has great abilties for healing, and can keep the party's HP and mana afloat thanks to Fountain of Life. Use Swift Healing for instant heals, and Clay's Salvation for a group-wide AOE heal.
However, most of the levelling is done solo, so prioritise Zephyr's Nock, Strafing and Wand curses for damage. Heals can be leveled much later as they won't be needed for the early encounters.
Use Deadly Marker whenever possible, or communicate with the party for coordinated burst windows.

Depending on the encounter, certain party targets may need more damage mitigation to survive. For these situations, don't hesitate to bring Invincile Wall and/or Blessed Barrier. Use specializations when party-wide damage needs to be mitigated.
In the meantime, it's normal for more experienced and better equipped parties to need less healing. Replace any unneeded healing skills with Decisive Sniping for more damage.
Sniper's Sense, Roxie's Arrowhead, and Wraith's Beckon passives are taken to increase damage when not healing.
The rest of the passives are taken to increase overall healing and self-sustainability.

Primary Weapon | |

Longbow of the World Tree | ・Critical Hit +80 ・Hit +80 ・Heavy Attack Chance +80 |
Note: All of the traits shown here are of max value!
Despite lacking any notable weapon effects, the Longbow of the World Tree is a solid choice providing 8 points in Wisdom, making it easier to reach 50 Wisdom breakpoint.
However, if the wisdom breakpoint can be reached with other equipment, it can be replaced with other longbows such as Karnix's Netherbow for team utility, Toublek's Deathmark Longbow, or Tevent's Arc of Wailing Death for more damage.
Secondary Weapon | |
---|---|
Excavator's Mysterious Scepter | ・Critical Hit +80 ・Heavy Attack Chance +80 ・Hit +80 |
Weapon Effect | Excavator's Breath | Additional 380 Health heal per 6s when using Rapid Healing skills on allies with Health less than 15%. Cooldown 30s. |
Note: All of the traits shown here are of max value!
When clutch heals are needed, Excavator's Mysterious Scepter provides a little bit more healing thanks to Excavator's Breath. Due to it's 30 second cooldown, this passive is best used on Tanks with high HP reserves.

This item build uses the 4-piece Ascended Guardian set for increased healing, and reduced skill cooldown. Instead of using other armor pieces, opting for Ascended Guardian on all armor pieces would ensure that the 50 Wisdom breakpoint will be reached.
Once each piece of equipment is fully upgraded, the player will be able to reach the important breakpoints of 50 Wisdom, and 40 Perception with several points to spare.

Prioritize 6 points in the check tree for the longbow, as Gale Arrowhead's reduced cooldown for all skills will increase overall dps. Reaching Critical Nock for the sniping tree will provide a decent amount of skill damage boost.
Getting to the end of the Damage tree will also provide the all-important Greedy Need, allowing skills to come off cooldown faster. The Recovery tree is all about getting to Redemptive Penance, which increases healing.

Lady Knight Kamarshea | Creates a shield for 50% of your Max Mana. Cooldown Speed +40% while the shield is up. Summon ends when the Shield is removed. |
Despite being a ranged support that can generally avoid taking damage, the Lady Knight's Kamarshea Guardian is the best option due to its ability to fully utilize the increased cooldown speed.
This allows skills to be used much more frequently, which can be used for more healing or dealing more damage, depending on the situation.

How to Play Longbow / Wand Build |
---|
|
Note: If the skills icons are confusing, some of the skill icons indicated here are using their specialized variants.

▶
▶
|
In most scenarios, Swift Healing should be used first to provide general healing. Use Fountain of Life and Clay's Salvation for party-wide heals, and Flash Arrow with the Flash Wave specialization to negate damage done by DOTs.
▶
▶
▶
▶
|
Opportunities to deal damage may not always be available, but should be taken whenever possible. Start the rotation with Deadly Marker, followed by Time for Punishment, before casting any curses.
Immediately stop casting offensive skills when the party needs healing, as keeping party members alive should be the first priority.
▶
▶
▶
▶
▶
|
While this rotation is mostly used as a filler for most longbow DPS classes, it is essential for this build to deal consistent damage. It's quick cooldown allows it to be used frequently, which is beneficial to this build as the opportunities to deal damage may not come along as often.
Ideally, this rotation should be done when Deadly Marker is applied to the target, but may not be readily available due to cooldown restrictions.

Invincile Wall is a great skill to mitigate incoming damage, and it has the flexibility to be used party-wide as long as the specialization is equipped. The same goes for Blessed Barrier. Use one or both of these skills depending on the needs of the party.
Use Purifying Touch when crowd control removal is desperately needed. This skill can be useful in certain situations to remove annoying lockdown skills or debilitating debuffs.

If I try to apply the skill specialization as said, I am left with 3 points before I can pick Flash Wave for Flash Arrow and that spec costs 10 points. What am I possibly doing wrong? I tried to reset and pick the specializations from scratch, same result
