Keep Moving while Attacking

A lot of Queen Blood Spider's attacks can be evaded by simply circling around it. This also helps in not being overwhelmed if you ever attract the attention of the surrounding spiders.

Queen Blood Spider has the Innate Defense buff, which boosts all of its defenses up. Just keep chipping away at its health and do not stray too far from its area so it will not regenerate health.

Queen Blood Spider's heavier attacks are easily telegraphed, so be prepared to either defend, dodge, or move out of the way before it lands on you.

Queen Blood Spider Attack List

Jumping Fury Attack

For about three seconds, Queen Blood Spider will rear up for a jump attack by bending and flexing its legs up and down. Once you see the purple indication of a Fury Attack coming, be ready to either defend or dodge out of the way to avoid getting Proned.

Note: Queen Blood Spider also has a separate jump attack that is immediate and harder to predict. It will mostly do this attack to close distance and is often a follow-up after a ranged web sling attack. It will not give the player the Prone debuff unlike the Fury Attack version of the attack.

Web Spray

This attack can be predicted once you see Queen Blood Spider turn around and face its abdomen at you. It will then spray its sticky web at you three times, possibly reducing your movement speed on impact. This attack is usually a follow-up after it inflicts Prone on you. Move away from this attack to avoid movement reduction.

Web Ball Sling

Often, when you are moving away from Queen Blood Spider, it will spin a ball of sticky web before slinging it towards you. Stepping on the sticky web on the ground will give you the Dark Veil and Damage Taken ▲ debuffs. Similar to its jumping Fury Attack, this attack winds up for three seconds, so you have that much time to either dodge or move away from its trajectory.

Queen Blood Spider Spawn Locations and Spawn Times

There are three Queen Blood Spiders in specific locations of Carmine Forest. They are usually surrounded by various other spiders and often at least one Blood Spider.

Elite enemies, like the Queen Blood Spider, may respawn within ten to five minutes after being defeated, depending on the version of your game. They can spawn at any time of the day in their respective locations.
