In Throne and Liberty (TL), you can climb Gigantrite's back by gliding from the highest point of Starlight Observatory Ruins or Purelight Tower. Learn how to climb Gigantrite's back and the things to do there, as well as the different routes that Gigantrite takes.

Do note that Gigantrite only spawns every three hours. You can check its schedule for your server via the Events tab in the map menu.

Fonos Basin Route

Boarding Points

Purelight Tower

Starlight Observatory Ruins

If Gigantrite spawns west of the Fonos Basin, you can use Purelight Tower or Starlight Observatory Ruins as boarding points. Simply climb to the highest points of either location and then glide your way towards the back of Gigantrite once it passes by.

Use Pitons to Climb Up Starlight Observatory

Climbing the Tower

Climb the tallest point of the tower ruins by using your character's grappling hook to reach its peak.

Use the Elevator to Reach the Top Floor of Purelight Tower

Purelight Tower Elevator

You can ride the elevator at the lobby of Purelight Tower to get to the top floor. Alternatively, you can use the stairs also located in the lobby, but this will take a longer time to reach the top.

Kastleton Route

Boarding Points

Starlight Observatory Ruins

If Gigantrite spawns west of Kastleton, it will eventually circle around the Starlight Observatory Ruins, so be sure to use that as your boarding point to climb Gigantrite's back.

Stonegard Castle Route

Boarding Points

Liberation Flag

If Gigantrite spawns west of Stonegard Castle, the Liberation Flag located north of the Temple of Sylaveth Waypoint will be your boarding point.

Use Pitons to Reach the Liberation Flag

Use Pitons to Reach Liberation Flag

The Liberation Flag is located on top of the castle wall. Use the pitons on the side to climb up over the wall.

Get the Doll for Little Friend in the Sky Quest

Amitoi Doll Gigantrite

The doll can be found near the tail and lower right wing of Gigantrite. This doll is needed to complete the exploration quest: Little Friend in the Sky

Gigantrite Saurodoma Island

Ride Gigantrite and wait until you can jump and glide towards the waypoint to reach Saurodoma Island.
