Throne and Liberty - Taedal

Answers in the Sand is the 12th Floor of Taedal's Tower in Throne and Liberty (TL) where you must fight Scorpos. Read on to see an overview of Scorpos as well as the possible rewards and drops upon completion!

Lure the Explosive Scorpions to the Sand Trap Part 1

At the start of the floor, your character has to lure the Tower Explosive Scorpion to the sand trap in the middle of the arena to make Scorpos appear. Scorpos will be stunned for a while once it resuraces, so your character can take advantage of this time window to start the fight immediately.

Lure the Explosive Scorpions to the Sand Trap Part 2

During the fight, Scorpos will occasionally burrow underground, summon Tower Explosive Scorpions, then move around the arena. The Tower Explosive Scorpions will chase your character around the arena while Scorpos is burrowed.

Once this event happens, your character has to lure the Tower Explosive Scorpions again to the sand trap marked by purple crystals. When Scorpos resurfaces, it will be stunned for a good amount of time. Use this time to dish out as much damage as possible before Scorpos becomes conscious again.

Scorpos Attack Patterns

Normal Attacks

This attack has Scorpos strike using its claws. It doesn't do much damage and can easily be interrupted by any crowd control skills.

Tail Whip Fury Attack

This attack has Scorpos swipe its tail toward your character's direction. The attack can easily be parried with a well-timed Defensive skill.

Sandstorm

This attack has Scorpos create a small sandstorm on its position, pulling targets towards its center and dealing damage. Simply move away from the sandstorm to avoid getting pulled in and damaged.

Stinger Fury Attack

This attack has Scorpos shoot a projectile from its stinger. The attack can easily be parried with a well-timed Defensive skill.
