Pick Any Ally As It Will Not Affect the Story

Sophia, Rutaine, and Robert

During the Assemble quest of the Nightmare Deja Vu chapter, you will be asked to choose from Sophia, Rutaine, or Robert, to go with you to the second temple. You can pick any from the three, as your choice will not affect anything storywise.

Regardless of choice, there will also be no major differences in the battle towards the temple. Each character will simply just help you deal damage to enemies that you'll encounter along the way.

You Cannot Go Alone

Henson Warning

A fourth option is also present, where you can opt to go by yourself. Unfortunately, the game will still force you to choose someone, as Henson will tell you that the path ahead is dangerous and you'll need a friend to support you.
