Weapon Type	Description
Crossbow	An amazing mid-range weapon for DPS players that offers high burst damage, with the ability to inflict Weaken using most of its skills. Synergizes well with a lot of meta DPS weapon combos.
Dagger	Great secondary weapon for ranged DPS builds, offering powerful debuffs and high mobility when equipped. However, it doesn't have much sustain when used as your primary weapon, especially in a melee-only DPS build.
Greatsword	Great for mobbing since it has a ton of AoE skills that deal a huge amount of damage while having short cooldowns. CCs and buffs are great for sustain making it the perfect weapon for Tanks and even as a secondary for DPS builds.
Longbow	A great long range weapon that deals decent damage against marked or CC'ed enemies. Can be used as a support weapon since some of its skills do offer healing.
Staff	An amazing magic DPS weapon that offers solutions for both mobbing and bossing in PvE. However, all of its playstyles are mana-hungry.
Sword and Shield	Offers a ton of options when it comes to CCs, buffs, and healing. Perfect for Tanks in PvE, but suffers from low damage. It's multiple CCs, however, dominate in PvP.
Wand	Great support weapon for healing, making it the perfect weapon for Support players. During leveling however, its damage is underwhelming. Best paired with a decent DPS weapon while grinding to endgame.

There are 7 different weapon types in Throne and Liberty. 3 are melee weapons (Greatsword, Sword and Shield, and Dagger), and 4 are ranged weapons (Crossbow, Longbow, Staff, and Wand).

Can be Crafted by Weapon Crafters in Major Towns

The easiest way to get better weapons when starting the game is to craft them via Weapon Crafter NPCs found inside towns. However, once you start needing Rare or Epic weapons, it becomes trickier to craft them organically since their Lithographs are much harder to come by naturally.

Milestone Rewards for Certain Adventure Quests

Certain Adventure Quests during the main story will reward you with a choice of weapon on completion. Make sure to pick upgrades for your build's main weapon during these milestones since it will be difficult to get upgrades the further you are in the leveling process.

Reward for Defeating Enemies in PvE

At higher levels, it becomes easier to quickly farm enemies for their weapon drops. Once you start hitting endgame, farm enemies in high-level regions for potential weapon drops or complete Abyssal Contracts inside Dungeons for a better chance at high-quality weapon drops.

Reward for Completing Lithograph Book Entries

The Lithograph Book allows you to submit a collection of items in order to complete its entries. On completion, some of these entries will reward you with Rare or even Epic rarity weapons. For most players, this will be the easiest way to get your first Epics as you start hitting the level cap.

Can Drop when Opening Chests

Chests are Throne and Liberty's form of loot boxes, allowing you a chance at getting a weapon whenever you open certain types of chests. Selection chests allow you to pick and guarantee the drop you get upon opening the chest. Chance chests function similarly to random loot boxes.

Purchased from the Auction House Using Lucent

If you have access to Lucent - Throne and Liberty's premium currency - you'll have the option to purchase weapons via the in-game Auction House after hitting level 40. However, do note that the availability and variety of sold weapons depends on how far along the server population is in the endgame grind.
