As a damage dealer, your job is to clear out the enemies that your tank has pulled using your AoE Capabilities, as well as take advantage of the new Weaken: Burst.
Apply Burst with skills such as Cyclonic Fury and Culling Arc, before dealing burst damage using Vicious Fury and Javelin Surge.
The build can be modified to take advantage of the Spear's Ignite and Ember mechanic instead, allowing for a lot of build flexibility.

Prioritize pumping points into Dexterity and Strength to increase your Max Health, Critical Hit Rate, and overall damage output. Reach 70 Dexterity to get a lot of Critical Hit Chance, as well as 60 Strength for more Survivability and Heavy Attack Chance.
Go for 40 Perception next for the Hit Chance and Buff Duration. After that, place the rest of your points on Wisdom for more Mana.

Level Vicious Fury and Culling Arc first as a bulk of your damage will come from these skills. Level Cyclonic Fury and Javelin Surge after, prioritizing Javeling Surge if you have Shaikal's Tentacle Spear.
Level Strafing and Zephyr's Nock after the above Spear skills, as you will mostly be using them for your ranged opener.
Cataclysm is your strongest PvE AoE skill, so spend your Omnipotence skill books on that.
For Passive skills, Rapidfire Stance and Retaliatory Strike are both strong passives, designed to increase your damage output.
Level Steady Aim after to increase your Crit Chance against Bound enemies, followed by Fatal Precision for more Attack Speed.
Level your other passives once skill books become available.

Get Critical Hit Chance, Heavy Attack Chance, and Hit Chance to increase your overall damage output. Get Evasion and Max Health, as well as Skill Heal for survivability.
For the Rune Synergies, get Dexterity and Strength to reach the needed stat breakpoints, then get Attack Speed, Cooldown Speed, and Movement Speed.

Get 6 points in the Check tree for the Longbow, as Gale Arrowhead's reduced cooldown for all skills will increase overall dps. Invest 9 points into the Sniping tree after to reach Critical Nock and Brutal Shooter, increasing your skill boost chance and critical damage.
Prioritize the Face Off tree first for Spear to get Thorough Preparations and Ultimate Power, which grants cooldown speed and attack speed. Follow this with the Destroy tree for Skillful Path and Will of Annihilations.

After using your Ranged Opener, you will want to close the gap. Always use Ensnaring Arrow before charging in with Gale Rush, as this will allow you to dash more and deal more damage in a group. This will also increase your attack speed by a lot, so always remember to do this

If your Javelin Lunge is up, use it to apply Brand on the enemy. Afterward, cast Cyclonic Fury to immediately place 5 stacks of Weaken: Burst on enemies.
Follow this with two casts of Culling Arc, with the second cast being empowered by the Weaken: Burst Stacks. Finally, use Vicious Fury three times in a row, which is made possible by the stacks of Burst.
If you have Blitz available, use it to immediately cast Vicious Fury again. Finish off the combo with Cataclysm.
