Sword and Shield / Wand
For the best Tank weapon combo, the synergy of the Wand / Sword and Shield stands out among all weapon combinations. The additional defense and resistances provided by the Sword and Shield, combined with the healing capabilities from the Wand, allows you to survive incoming attacks and sustain your HP throughout the fight.
In addition to your defensive abilities, you also have a chance to block enemy attacks thanks to the Sword & Shield's effects.
This weapon combination also enables you to spam multiple Crowd Control abilities when you're overwhelmed by enemies during critical situations.

Spear / Sword and Shield
The Spear is one of the newest additions, designed to bring a more aggressive and far reaching playstyle to tanks and melee DPS players. Combining the Spear and Sword and Shield will allow players to take the initiative and engage in combat, rushing down enemies and disrupting backlines.
The Spear has many forms of engagement, such as Gale Rush and Death From Above. Follow this up with Provoking Roar to taunt enemies and allow your damage dealers to clean up the enemies.

The Greatsword / Sword and Shield weapon combo is a hybrid build that lets you stay defensive while dealing massive AoE damage with your skills. This bruiser style build is perfect for those who want to remain in the fight and finish off enemies on the front lines.

Dagger / Sword and Shield
The Sword and Shield / Dagger weapon combo makes for a solid tank build with multiple Escape Skills, making you extremely hard to kill. Additionally, this weapon combination allows you to burst down enemies with powerful single target bursts while stacking the Thundercloud Bombing debuff on enemies.
