Castle Siege will be made available on a Sunday every two weeks, consistently starting at 16:00 local server time with the next one occuring on December 1.
To participate in the Castle Siege event, you must join one of the eight guilds that are included in the two competing alliances of your assigned server. As the Castle Siege event is a server-wide battle for the throne that rewards Lucent, many participants will be expected.
Oftentimes, these guilds will recruit days before the event starts to bolster their units and increase their chances of winning. Be vigilant in the recruitment channel for a chance to not only earn the rewards from this event but also be part of an influential guild!
During the Castle Siege, all players' outfits will receive color codings depending on the side they are on:
Furthermore, all Staff Officers, Guardians, and Guild Leaders will receive special icons to distinguish them during the siege!

16:00 - 16:15 |
When the siege starts at exactly 16:00, the preparation stage commences until 15 minutes have passed. During this period, each side should have ample time to discuss their winning strategies and assign the man count and placements for each squad.
All NPCs in Stonegard Castle should have despawned as soon as the Preparation Stage started, meaning you cannot restock on the necessities before PvP is enabled. With that in mind, always be prepared even before the preparation stage!

As soon as the clock hits 16:15, the PvP stage commences, formally starting the siege. Players will be teleported depending on the side they are on. Attackers will be sent outside while the Defenders are transported inside the castle.
Up until 17:00, participants of the siege must do whatever it takes to seize or defend the throne before the event ends. There are multiple ways to help players hold agency in the siege such as overtaking Siege Ruins and summoning Siege Golems!
PVP Guide
Outside the castle walls, there will be four Siege Ruins that both the Attackers and Defenders' Guardian-ranked members and above can claim. These Siege Ruins act as a teleportation waypoint and a means to summon Siege Golems for the team that captured the ruin.
However, for balancing purposes, it is almost guaranteed that the Attackers will hold the initiative for capturing the Siege Ruins as they get a 5-second head start!
Golem | Specialization |
---|---|
Stone Crasher | Specializes in destroying the castle walls, towers, and gates. Can also optionally pick enemy players off the wall. |
Battle Cruiser | Specializes in transporting big groups of players and get them across the castle walls. |
Gate Hammer | Specializes in taking down castle walls, towers, and gates at range while reducing damage for allies near them. |
Jump Attacker | Specializes in putting pressure by scaling walls and attacking any enemy positioned there. |
After possessing a Siege Ruin, you can use the Golem Slates to summon the battle-deciding Siege Golems. These Siege Golems are known for their unique effects that alter the state of the siege when utilized at the correct moment and time!
To get Golem Slates, you can purchase them from the Guild Supplies Merchant found within their Guild Base.
After getting into the castle, you will encounter Resurrection and Pillage stones. These stones, each serving different uses, are essential for obtaining space inside the castle. Regardless of rank, any guild member can attempt to capture these stones.
Resurrection Stones, when claimed by either side, are used as a spawn point for any members knocked out during the siege. However, keep in mind that there are timers to avoid mass respawns!
The Pillage Stones can be used as an alternative means of gathering Lucent and Sollant when they are claimed, doling out Lucent and Sollant every 5 minutes upon capture. The alliance currently defending the throne cannot claim Pillage Stones.
Additionally, there are different options to infiltrate the castle. There are different paths that players can utilize to assert more pressure and divide the forces of the defenders.
If you are looking for a more sneaky approach, accessing the Sewer Systems below the castle can give you the jump over your enemies. However, due to the limited space, only a select few people can effectively siege here. It is recommended to send in players that use Dagger Builds!
Another alternative would be to operate the three gate levers to storm the Outer Wall Gate, the Inner Wall Gate, and the Side Gate. Each door requires two players to operate and effectively doing so requires a lot of manpower and coordination since the defending side will assign multiple people to defend the levers. It is best to be accompanied by a Jump Attacker Golem for cover fire!
The final confrontation inside the Throne Room is the single most important objective of the siege as the results of the fight will determine the winning and losing team.
One of the attacking team's Guild Leaders will have to interact with the throne in the center, morphing into the Usurper after the process is done. As the Usurper, you become harder to kill since you are tasked to stay and survive inside the throne's vicinity for three minutes.
After claiming the throne, you must defend your position until the event is over to triumph over the Castle Siege event!

17:00 - 17:03 |
When the time reaches 17:00 and the throne is still being contested by players, the overtime stage will commence. During the overtime stage, the battle's outcome will resolve in under three minutes, and the alliance that currently holds the throne will reap the spoils!
Apart from the reputation as one of the influential members of the top guild, you and your guildmates will be rewarded with a significantly hefty sum of Lucent and Sollant based on the percentage of reserves in Stonegard Castle Vault!

The Castle Siege event is currently Throne and Liberty's most massive PvP event where a siege to gain authority over Stoneguard Castle will be decided by the reigning guilds and alliances.
There are two teams that will participate, those being the Attackers and Defenders. While both have access to all of the features, certain elements have been adjusted for fair play. That being said, the two sides have different goals in mind:
