Critical Hit

Critical Hits Explained

In Throne and Liberty, Critical Hits are when your character's attacks apply the maximum base damage they can achieve. This applies to melee, ranged, magic attacks, and heals.

Endurance Counters Critical Hit Chance

The higher an opponent's Endurance is, the lesser chance for you character to proc Critical Hits.

Increase Dexterity Stat to Proc Critical Hits

Increasing your character's Dexterity Stat will allow them to proc Critical Hits more reliably. Raising this stat also gives your character Evasion, Movement Speed, and Bonus Damage.

Critical Hit Chance Stat Threshold Bonus

Reaching a certain Stat threshold will give your character these Critical Hit Chance Bonuses:

  • Dexterity 30 - Critical Hit Chance 100
  • Dexterity 60 - Critical Hit Chance 120
  • Dexterity 70 - Critical Hit Chance 60

Heavy Attacks Explained

In Throne and Liberty, Heavy Attacks are when your character's attack damage is applied twice or shown as x2. This applies to melee, ranged, magic attacks, and heals.

Unlike Critical Hits, Heavy Attacks' proc chance cannot be lowered by an opponent's stats.

Increase Strength Stat to Proc Heavy Attacks

Increasing your character's Strength stat will allow them to proc Heavy Attacks more reliably. Raising this stat also gives your character Max Health, Damage Reduction, Melee Defense, and Ranged Defense.

Heavy Attack Chance Stat Threshold Bonus

Reaching 50 Strength will give your character 100 points in Heavy Attack Chance.
