Where to Find Ant Larva

Spawning Grounds

Ant Larva can only spawn within the Spawning Grounds area in the Ant Nest dungeon. They can respawn after being defeated, but it takes considerably longer for Ant Larva to respawn compared to the other ants.

Ant Larva Locations

Ant Larvae can be found in these parts of the Spawning Grounds. Keep a sharp eye out for Ant Larva as they tend to blend into the environment due to their small size, worm-like shape, and light brown color.

Ant Larvae Are Always Accompanied by Two Ants

An Ant Larva can always be seen being protected by two ants. One of these ants is always a Worker Ant while the other ant could be either a Charging Ant, Soldier Ant, or an Acid Ant. Other nearby ants could be alerted once you initiate combat with an Ant Larva, so make sure to be aware of your surroundings.

Defeat Ant Larva Before It Grows

Ant Larva can grow into an adult ant once it has been alerted. You can tell the Ant Larva was alerted when an exclamation point appears out of its head. Once engaged in combat, you have approximately six seconds to defeat the Ant Larva before it turns into an adult. The Ant Larva can turn into either a Worker Ant, Charging Ant, or an Acid Ant.
