Throne and Liberty - Resistance

Resistance's Role Model is an Exploration Quest in the Fonos Basin region of Throne and Liberty (TL). Learn how to get the Specter Soul Shard, as well as the rewards that you can get for completing the Resistance's Role Model quest.

How to Get Specter Soul Shard in Resistance's Role Model Quest

  1. Use the Catapult to Launch Yourself in the Air

Use the Catapult to Launch Yourself in the Air

Operate the catapult's lever, then quickly hop on the catapult below to launch yourself in the air. Once up in the air, morph into your Glide form.

Glide Towards the Mountain

Land on the Cliff Near the Wooden Spikes

While gliding, make your way towards the side of the mountain where some wooden spikes are attached to it.

Reach the Fire Cave

Next, you will have to traverse through the rough terrain and use the pitons to climb over ledges and cliffs to reach the Fire Cave.

How to Reach the Fire Cave

Follow the Blood Trails
Drop down the ledge to your left. Proceed ahead and then make a sharp turn right once you reach the edge.

Jump and Grapple onto the Piton
There will be a piton that you can grapple on to. You will have to run and jump, then grapple onto it while mid-air to get to the other side.

Use the Piton to Climb the Cliff
Just up ahead is another piton. Grapple onto it to get on top of the cliff.

Use the Piton in the Forest Area
Move through the forest area until you reach the hut on the other side. As you approach the hut, you'll find another piton. Use it to get on top.

Go through the bush beside the hut
Go through the bush beside the hut.

Use Piton Behind Hut
Behind the hut is a piton. Use it to climb over the ledge.

Drop Down and Run East
Drop down the ledge and head east.

Fire Cave Entrance
Keep going east (follow the blue quest marker on your map) until you reach an opening that leads to the Fire Cave.

Get the Specter Soul Shard Without Being Seen

Glide down and land on the wooden chair. The Specter Soul Shard should be sitting on the steps near it. You will have to grab the shard without being seen or attacked, otherwise you won't be able to get it.

You can do this by landing directly on the shard (or at least near it), then quickly grab the shard before any nearby Orc notices you. If you get caught, you will have to leave the area and return to the catapult to redo all steps again.
