How to Use Material Transmutation

Throne and Liberty Material Transmutation

Material Transmutation allows players to turn items into other items in Throne and Liberty (TL). Learn about how to get Epic equipment, Rare Runes, via Material Transmutation here.

What is Material Transmutation

Convert Items Into Other Items

Material Transmutation - Convert Spare Items
Material Transmutation is a new feature that arrived during the Call of the Spear Update. It allows you to select spare Equipment, Runes, Materials, and Gems, and convert it into other items.

You Can Get Equipment And Runes

Material Transmutation - Runes and Equipment

You can get either Equipment or Runes from Material Transmutation, based on which transmutation you want to do. It's important to note that Rune Transmutation is significantly harder to do compared to Equipment Transmutation.

The rarity of the item you receive will depend on the total point value of the items that you select. Reaching Conversion Tier 3 on Equipment Transmutation will reward you with Epic items, while reaching Conversion Tier 4 on Rune Transmutation can reward you with Chaos Runes.

The Results Are Randomized

There is no way of knowing what item you will get from Material Transmutation. You can, however, specify the item category of the result. For example, you can select to only get Weapons. This does, however, cost more than a normal Transmutation.

How to Use Material Transmutation

Step Process
1 Select if you want to transmute Equipment or Runes
2 Place enough spare Equipment or Runes into the converter until you reach your desired Conversion Tier
2.5 If you cannot reach the points needed for the next Conversion Tier, you can instead choose to Convert Points. This will store the points for future use.
3 Select if you want a random Equipment or Rune, or a specific type. Specific conversions cost more than random ones.
4 Pay the Sollant Price and claim your Transmuted item!

How to Unlock Material Transmutation

Material Transmutation - Unlocks Automatically

Material Transmutation unlocks automatically for everyone. There is no quest that needs to be finished to unlock this feature.
