Throne and Liberty - Taedal

Move Out of the Maze

The Roaring Avolos Umbramancer's special attack has it pull your character towards the middle, disappear, create a maze in the arena, then destroy the maze, dealing massive damage.

Once the maze appears, simply morph and make your way out of it and stay there until the boss reappears. While waiting, use healing items and/or skills to replenish HP and get ready to get back to the fight.

Roaring Avolos Umbramancer Attack Patterns

Normal Attacks

This attack has the Roaring Avolos Umbramancer swing its weapon. The attack doesn't do much damage and can easily be interrupted by any crowd control skill.

Black Lightning

This attack has the Roaring Avolos Umbramancer summon multiple black lightning bolts at your character's position twice. The simplest way to avoid the attack is by moving away from the black circles that appear on the ground, which indicates where the lightning bolts will hit.

Dark Nova Fury Attack

This attack has the Roaring Avolos Umbramancer slam its weapon on the ground, creating a dark nova that deals damage around itself. The attack can easily be parried by a well-timed Defensive skill.
