This is a guide on how to avoid Berge's Eyes in the Nightmare Deja Vu chapter of Throne and Liberty (TL). Read on to learn how to avoid Berge's Eyes, as well as the rewards for completing the Nightmare Herald quest!

How to Avoid Berge's Eyes

Move to the First Wall Outside the Ruins
The first step to avoiding Berge's Eyes is to go to the wall beside the doorway of the ruins. This is where you saw a soldier turn into a statue during the cutscene. Be sure to stay behind the wall otherwise you'll also fall victim to Berge's Eyes.
Turn Around and Look for a Stone Archway
Look behind you and look for a destroyed stone archway. This is where you'll be running to next. Make sure to morph while moving between cover to avoid falling prey to Berge's Eyes.
Stay Behind the Stone Archway for a While
After moving behind the stone archway, stay here for a while to remove Berge's Eyes effect on your character. You can tell if it's alright to move to the next spot once the eye icon on your head is completely shut closed.
Turn Around and Move to the Next Wall
Once again, turn around and you should see a half wall. Morph and move behind this spot.
Grapple on the Floating Pillar
Next to the half wall should be a floating pillar with a piton attached to it. Run towards it and use grapple to get on top. Be careful not to fall in the water, otherwise you will take damage and possibly die!
Glide Towards the Rift of the Barrier
Finally, glide towards the other island where the Rift of the Barrier is located. Berge's Eyes will no longer affect you as soon as you get here.

How to Complete Nightmare Herald

| 2 | Inject the barrier with mana and move outside the temple. |
| 3 | Move to Temple 1 to avoid Berge. |
| 4 | Infuse Mana of the Star Fragment to Henson and your ally. |
| 5 | Move to the Light Sanctum Ruins |
Rewards
| This quest has no rewards. It is also not listed in the Codex, but it comes after the Assemble quest and before the Into Another Dark Nightmare quest. |
