As of March 2025, Game8 has ended coverage of Throne and Liberty.

There will be different ways to download and install Throne and Liberty on its available platforms. Read on to learn how to download TL on PC, Xbox, and PS5.

For PC Players: Steam
PC players will be able to download and install Throne and Liberty via Steam once its listing becomes available during the global release on October 1. You can also purchase the Early Access packs here, or redeem codes purchased via Amazon Game Store, to play TL ahead of October 1.
Soft Launch PC Players: Install via PURPLE App
PC players from any of the 19 select regions for soft launch can start playing the game immediately, even ahead of global Early Access.
To download the game early, you will have to create an NCSOFT Account and download the PURPLE PC Client to get Throne and Liberty now.

Before downloading, ensure that your system meets the minimum or recommended specs by the developer to run Throne and Liberty as smoothly or functionally as possible.
For Xbox Series X|S Players: Xbox Store
Xbox Series X|S players can download Throne and Liberty through the Xbox Games Store once the global release has begun, and can also purchase Early Access Packs to play ahead of the global release if they wish.

Game Pass Core is Not Required to Play TL
Game Pass Core membership will not be required to play TL upon global release: you only need an Xbox account. Early Access, on the other hand, will require either Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Xbox Game Pass Core.
For PS5 Players: PlayStation Store
PS5 Players should see and be able to download Throne and Liberty in the PlayStation Store upon global launch. Before October 1, the only listings visible are those for Early Access Packs.

PlayStation Plus is Not Required to Play TL
PlayStation Plus membership will not be necessary for PS5 players to play Throne and Liberty. You just need to have a regular PlayStation account to access TL.
