This is a guide on the Outrider Greatsword (GS) and Crossbow build for PvE in Throne and Liberty (TL). This guide shows how to effectively use the Outrider Greatsword and Crossbow to deal high DPS, including the best gears to equip, skill rotations, runes, traits, and more.

For stat allocations, levelling Strength and Dexterity to at least 50 is a must. This allows players to make use of stat breakpoint bonuses such as Max Health, Damage Reduciton, Critical Hit Increases, and additional Heavy Attacks! Levelling Perception to 30 is also crucial as it increases Hit Chance among other stats.

Targets immune to Stun are Shocked for 6s. Wrath Attacks can’t be defended. Use with the directional buttons to defend against attacks while moving 4m in the designated direction for 0.5s. Upon defending against a Fury or Wrath Attack, Charging Draw is activated for 3s.

Davinci's Courage and Mother Nature's Protest will be the main buffs in this build. Take Davinci's Chill and Frost Arrow to inflict frost when using these abilities.
Nimble Leap is a mobility skill that allows the player to reposition. With consecutive use, this skill can be used twice before going on cooldown.
Quick Fire, Mortal Mark, Recoil Shot, Multi Shot, and Merciless Barrage are the main sources of ranged damage.
Gaia Crash, Devastating Tornado, Ascending Slash, and Guillotine Blade are the main sources of melee damage.
When levelling skills, [red]prioritize Quick Fire, Devastating Tornado, Gaia Crash, and Recoil Shot[/red[]] to maximize damage against mobs and bosses early on,
Barbarian's Dash and Nature's Power grant bonuses to Move Speed and Damage upon using a mobility skill.
Robust Constitution, Detection, and Vital Force are passives that buff the player, with Detection granting Move Speed and Evasion upon getting hit, and Vital Force granting Hit Rate scaling with the player's Max Health. Lastly, Robust Constitution gives a simple, yet effective buff to Max Health and Health Regen.
Cold Warrior, Ambidexterity, and Bloodlust Stack are offensive passives that offer damage boosts upon meeting certain conditions.
Prioritize Cold Warrior, Bloodlust Stack, Robust Constitution and Vital Force when levelling Passives.

The Ghost Wolf set bonus is most ideal for this build, as it provides another increase to Off-Hand Weapon Attack Chance.Take traits that give Ranged and Magic Endurance, as well as other offensive traits such as Cooldown Speed and Attack Speed. For resonance, take Max Health to improve the efficacy of Robust Constitution.
For accessories, Clasp of the Overlord provides Critical Hit and Max Health, while Bracers of the Primal King offers Perception and Bonus Damage, and also allows you to take Max Health as a trait. Eldritch Ice Band, Amber Dimensional Band, and Girdle of Spectral Skulls offer boosts to the Strength and Dexterity stats, allowing the player to hit stat breakpoints. For traits and resonance, Prioritize Skill Damage Boost, Buff Duration, and Max Health.

Cast Mother Nature's Protest and always keep it active. Then, cast DaVinci's Resolve before casting Devastating Tornado, then Gaia Crash. Cast Multi Shot to push targets back, before casting Merciless Barrage.
Take Frost Arrow on Mother Nature's Protest to inflict frost on enemies, as well as DaVinci's Chill, Ice Tornado, and Frost Cleave. Doing the rotation in order will cause enemies to be Icebound, where Frost Cleave gains bonus damage from.
Frost Arrow When used, properties activate or deactivate. When activated, projectile attacks consume 16 Mana to shoot an additional projectile. This property deactivates if Mana is less than 10% of Max Mana. Acquiring more than two properties at the same time triggers cycling between the properties in this order: Gale > Flame > Frost > Lightning > Deactivation, every time this skill is used. Gale Arrow Deals 21% of Base Damage. Has a 15% chance to apply Gale for 6s. Flame Arrow Deals 21% of Base Damage. Has a 15% chance to apply Weaken: Burning for 3s, which has the same effect as Serial Fire Bombs. Frost Arrow Deals 28% of Base Damage. Has a 30% chance to apply Frost and Weaken which decreases Move Speed by 10% for 1s. If the effect is already applied, the duration increases by 0.5s. Lightning Arrow Deals 30% of Base Damage. Has a 8% chance to deal additional damage that is equal to 120% of Base Damage. If the target is Wet or has Frost applied by you, the status transfers to another enemy within 5m radius

DaVinci's Chill Increases Max Health by 440 and Health Regen by 110 for 12s. Applies Weaken: Frost to a target within a 5m area, decreasing their Move Speed by 5% for the duration. At 10 stacks, applies Bind: Icebound to the target for 3s. Applying Frost to a target with Icebound will increase the Bind duration by 0.2s.

Ice Tornado Attack Speed increases by 100%. Attacks every enemy within range 12 consecutive times, dealing 57% of Base Damage + 9. When hit, damage increases by 8%, and applies Weaken: Slow, decreases the target's Move Speed by 5%. Binds for 3s at 10 stacks. Icebound Bind duration increases by 0.2s when Frost is applied to a Frozen target. Attack speed increases by 11%, and can pass through the target.

Mortal Mark Deals 200% of Base Damage + 14 Damage and has a 100% chance to Weaken and Mark the target for 3s. When attacking a Marked target, deal 15% of Base Damage + 1. Damage accumulates until the Mark ends, at which point the Mark explodes and deals Bonus Damage to the target equal to 10% of the total accumulated damage. Stacks up to 2 times. Marked targets received 60% less Incoming Heal.

Cast Mother Nature's Protest and DaVinci's Courage, before casting Devastating Tornado, and Gaia Crash. Then, cast Ascending Slash to apply Shock to the boss. This will cause Guillotine Blade to deal extra damage to the boss.
Swap to the crossbow and kite backwards, casting Mortal Mark to apply Weaken on the boss. Doing so causes Quick Fire to also deal bonus damage. Then, cast Quick Fire, Nimble Leap, and Recoil shot. Reapply Weaken with Multi-Shot, before casting Merciless Barrage.
With the Cooldown Resets skill specialization under Nimble Leap, the cooldown of Quick Fire is reset after casting Nimble Leap. This allows you to cycle between Quick Fire, Nimble Leap, and Recoil Shot twice in one rotation.
