How to Use Warped Axe

Scales with Strength

The Warped Axe only scales with Strength by default but different affinities can be applied to the weapon to allow it to scale with your other attributes. Since this is a Strength-based weapon, you can get the most out of the scaling bonus with the talisman Starscourge Heirloom that raises your Strength and by applying a Heavy affinity.

Good Damage Dealing Weapon

The Warped Axe is a customizable weapon that deals decent damage. It shares unique normal and strong attack animations with the Ripple Blade, the normal attacks have a slight variation from the standard five-hit chain while the second strong attack drags the weapon on the ground before performing an upward slash.

It has a moderately fast attack speed that can be used to apply status effects. The Blood affinity will grant the weapon the ability to apply Bleed while the Ashes of War Chilling Mist will allow you to apply Frostbite and Poisonous Mist will grant you Poison.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill War Cry by default. When this skill is activated it performs a shout that boosts your attack power and changes your strong attacks to charging attacks.

The charging attack of the weapon can stagger unshielded enemies with the initial running animation before unleashing a crushing strike to deal great damage. The effects of the weapon skill can be enhanced with the Roar Medallion talisman.
