Description
A hammer made from a boulder, used in the War against the Giants. One of the heftiest weapons in the entire Lands Between. After the giants were quelled, and man turned against man in violence, this weapon was all but forgotten. Man has grown feeble in comparison to his forebears.

In a Carriage Chest South of Outer Wall Phantom Tree

This weapon is found inside a carriage chest in a camp south of the Outer Wall Phantom Tree Site of Grace in Altus Plateau. When you approach, an Ulcerated Tree Spirit will fall out of the sky.

You can either choose to fight it for a Golden Seed or dodge its attacks and head straight for the carriage. Open the chest to get the Giant-Crusher.

How to Use Giant-Crusher

Need High Poise

It is highly recommended to use the highest poise armor possible when using the Giant-Crusher.

Its attacks have a slow wind-up, but do a lot of damage when they land. Without enough poise, you can easily get staggered out of your attacks.

You may also use its default Ash of War, Endure, to boost your poise. Note that it only lasts a very short time, but the FP cost is cheap and you can keep using it repeatedly.

Short Reach

The Giant-Crusher has a short reach, and so it is recommended to use its heavy attack or jump attack as a gap-closer.

Has High Physical Guard

With 88 Physical Guard, this weapon can actually be comparable to some shields, making it good for blocking in a pinch.
