How to Use Gargoyle's Black Blade

Scales With Strength, Faith, and Dexterity

Gargoyle's Black Blade scales with Strength and Faith with Strength as its main attribute with the highest scaling bonus. The Starscourge Heirloom can further increase the damage of your physical attacks by raising this stat.

Leveling up your Faith will improve the weapon's Holy attack damage and can be further increased with the Two Fingers Heirloom that raises your Faith Attribute.

Holy Damage Weapon

Gargoyle's Black Blades has the default move set for Twinblades which consists of fast slashing attacks with good range that can hit multiple enemies at once. It also deals additional Holy damage which makes it an effective weapon against enemies and bosses that are weak to Holy.

Most notably, Holy Damage is effective against Skeletons as they will no longer be able to resurrect after being taken down. Equipping the Sacred Scorpion Charm talisman can boost your Holy attacks at the expense of lowered damage negation.

Weapon Skill is Good for Quickly Dealing Damage

This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Spinning Slash as its default weapon skill. It enables the user to perform a 360-degree spinning slash capable of hitting surrounding enemies. This skill can be followed up with another input to perform another spinning attack.

Due to its ability to land successive hits on an enemy, the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia talisman is a piece of good supplementary equipment that will enhance the damage of your attacks.
