How to Use Gargoyle’s Greatsword

Scales with Strength and Dexterity

The Gargoyle's Greatsword scales with Strength and Dexterity but mainly scales with the Strength attribute. Adding points to Strength rather than Dexterity will have the most stat scaling bonus to physical attack gain. If you want this weapon to scale with a different attribute then changing the weapon's affinity will allow it to better scale with your stats.

High Damaging Weapon

This weapon deals a high amount of physical damage and can easily stagger enemies with wide slashing normal attacks and devastating charged strong attacks that can easily break an enemy's poise.

Since this weapon primarily scales with Strength, the talisman Starscourge Heirloom which raises your Strength attribute is good supplementary equipment that will increase your damage.

Infusable with Ashes of War

The weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and has Vacuum Slice as its default weapon skill. When activated the weapon is readied above the head of the user before swinging it downwards firing a blade-like projectile.

It can be used to deal damage from a distance and chip away at an enemy's HP before they get the chance to get close to you.
