Description
Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it. The hammer partially broke upon shattering the Ring, becoming splintered with rune fragments.

How to Use Marika's Hammer

Scales with Strength, Faith, and Dexterity

Marika's Hammer scales mainly with Strength and Faith and leveling up these two attributes will have the most beneficial effect on its capabilities. Adding points to Strength will increase the overall damage dealt by physical attacks and the Starscourge Heirloom can further increase the damage of your attacks by raising this stat.

Adding points to Faith will increase the Holy damage of the weapon and the Two Fingers Heirloom can improve the damage of your Holy attacks by raising your Faith.

Holy Damage Weapon

This weapon's physical attacks deal an additional Holy damage. It is effective against enemies and bosses that are weak to Holy. Most notably, Holy Damage is effective against Skeletons as they will no longer be able to resurrect after being taken down.

It has the standard move set for hammers with moderately fast normal attacks and crushing strong attacks that is effective at breaking an enemy's guard and dealing high damage to Poise. The charged strong attacks can be enhanced with the Axe Talisman.

Weapon Skill is an AoE Holy Damage Attack

This weapon cannot be infused with Ashes of War and has the weapon skill Gold Breaker by default. When activated the user leaps into the air and remains suspended for a short time. The weapon is imbued in golden light before smashing it to the ground creating an explosion of Holy damage.

The skill has a large AoE effect that can be used to clear out large groups of enemies and the damage of the explosion can be increased with the Sacred Scorpion Charm talisman. The skill grants enough Poise to take a few hits before you get interrupted and can still be performed without FP but will no longer have the AoE explosion.
