How to Beat Roark's Rematch Team

Quickly Defeat Tyranitar with Fighting Type Moves

BDSP - Roark Rematch Tyranitar

Tyranitar is 4x weak to Fighting type moves, so it would be best to start off with a Pokemon like Lucario to take it out quickly, especially since it has the move Stealth Rock, which could seriously damage the rest of your party when they come out.

Watch Out for the Sand Stream

Tyranitar is also usually the first Pokemon in Roark's team and it has the ability Sand Stream which starts a sandstorm when it enters the field. For the first few turns of the battle, it is best to bring out Pokemon which are immune to the effects of sandstorms.

Use Super Effective Moves on Aerodactyl and Armaldo

BDSP - Roark Rematch Aerodactyl

Aerodactyl and Armaldo can both be taken care off with strong Water or Steel type moves. Keep in mind that Aerodactyl has the moves Roar, Roost, and Stealth Rock, so it best to deal with this Pokemon quickly.

Watch Out for Probopass' Focus Sash

BDSP - Roark Rematch Probopass

Since Probopass holds a Focus Sash, it cannot be taken out in a single hit, so it is best to first chip at its health with a weaker move before taking it out completely with either a Fighting or Ground type attack.

Relicanth is Locked to One Move

BDSP - Roark Rematch Relicanth

Relicanth is any easy Pokemon to deal with compared to others since it is locked to a singe attack due to Choice Band. Just make sure bring out a Pokemon that can resist the attacks while unleashing powerful Grass type moves.

Quickly Defeat Rampardos with a Super Effective Move

BDSP - Roark Rematch Rampardos

Because Rampardos does not have the best defensive stats, you can quickly take it out before it can do any damage with a strong super effective move such as an Aura Sphere from Lucario or Earthquake from Garchomp.
