Cut (TM93) is a Normal-type HM Move (Hidden Move) that allows you to cut down trees and access blocked areas in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl (BDSP). Learn how and where to get Cut, how and where to use it, and what Pokemon can learn Cut.

Where to Get Cut
Obtain from Cynthia at Eterna City
You can obtain Cut (TM93) from Cynthia at Eterna City. Head to the northern side of the city in front of the Team Galactic Eterna Building to trigger a cutscene and receive the hidden move.
Note that you need to obtain the 2nd Gym Badge before you can use Cut as a hidden move.

You can also purchase TM93 Cut at the Exchange Service Corner in the Battle Park for 32 Battle Points.
How to Use Cut
Press the A Button Towards the Tree
You can use Cut by pressing the A button towards a tree with two branches to cut it down. Note that you cannot use this hidden move to cut down large trees other than the one seen in the above image.
Defeat Gardenia to Use Cut as a Hidden Move
You cannot use Cut as a Hidden Move unless you have defeated Gardenia, the gym leader at Eterna City. Her team consists of Grass-type Pokemon so be sure to bring any Fire-type or Poison-type Pokemon to deal with her Cherubi, Turtwig, and Roserade.

Use Poketch and Switch to the Hidden Moves Screen
You can also use Cut as a hidden move from the Poketch app. If the Poketch app does not appear in the upper right corner of the screen, press the R button twice. If a small screen is displayed, press the R button once to enlarge it.
Once the Poketch app is displayed, press the red button to switch to the Hidden Moves screen and select Cut from the menu.
It is recommended to simply press the A button towards the tree as it is faster to do so.
