Just got my radar
Ive caught a shiny ponyta without the pokeradar
I was able to chain up to 45 catching instead of knocking them out. I tended to break the chain at around 16 or less when defeating them. my chain ended up breaking at 45 even encountering the same pokemon on the farthest patch of grass. So I guess it's still just luck
So this info seems conpletely incorrect because ive only chained about 50 times and have hit 2 chains of 40+ (43 and 51). Did the test ensure that the pokemon was captured and not killed as well as going to the furthest grass patch? According to other sites, that increases the odds by a LOT (still low but not .008)
