whilst this was helpful, the post failed to inform me that I'd need 10 different ribbons between the Pokémon in my party, for me to have access to The Ribbon Syndicate

Trading brings friendship back down to 0
The footprint ribbon is NOT max friendship. I have a lugia traded to me by a friend who's friendship is maxed. Dr. Footprint still says it is ineligible. I suspect it works similar to gen 6 and 7 footprint ribbon, which could only be obtained after the pokemon has gained 30 levels.
