Buried Shrines is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 2. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in Buried Shrines!

Buried Shrines is an area you can access from The Lost City. You'll be led to this place if you're doing the The City of Seven Waters main quest.
Like The Lost City, this area consists of narrow halls that connect several rooms. Watch out for enemies such as Sand Spirits and Terracotta Soldiers because they can hit you consecutively in the narrow space you have! You will find The Vestibule near a checkpoint, where you must defeat Azarian, the Forsaken Son. This boss uses strong melee attacks and AOE fire spells, so try to increase your fire resistance!
How to Get to the Buried Shrines

Buried Shrines is unlocked upon receiving The City of Seven Waters Quest in Act 2. It is directly connected to Keth, which can be accessed through the Desert Map in The Ardura Caravan. Go through The Lost City

Go through the Buried Shrines to reach The Heart of Keth, where you can fight Azarian, the Forsaken Son and complete The City of Seven Waters Quest.
The area comprises two main regions connected by two separate bridges. The area, though vast, has many open areas separated by terrain and connected by narrow paths that branch out. Along the way, you will find a Guarded Sarcophagus in one major region and an Elemental Offering in an isolated room in the other region for additional loot.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

The braziers at the corners of the arena release Burning Ground when broken, filling that section of the stage with flames. To avoid this, position yourself so Azarian's attacks don't hit and break the braziers. Be mindful of your own attacks as well, as they can also shatter the braziers if misdirected.
