The Riverbank is a location in Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2) that is available to visit in Act 1. Read on to see all quests, bosses, and everything you can find in The Riverbank!

The Riverbank Location Details
Starting Area

The Riverbank is the starting area in Path of Exile 2. This is where you can get a feel for the game and its core mechanics.
It's filled with Drowned Enemies but nothing you can't handle at a low level. Make sure to explore the area and open any chest you find to get valuable items and equipment.
The boss of the area is The Bloated Miller. This boss will teach you the basics of combat like dodging and using your skills.
How to Get to The Riverbank

| 2 |  You will automatically be teleported to The Riverbank after a short cutscene. |
The Riverbank is the first area to be unlocked upon finishing Character Creation.

You spawn in The Riverbank after completing Character Creation. This marks the beginning of Act 1, starting with the quest Reaching Clearfell.
The area comprises a simple linear path towards Clearfell Encampment at the opposite end of the region. You must fight and defeat The Bloated Miller to enter Clearfell Encampment.
It is important to note that the areas are randomly generated and that the maps used are meant to serve as a general guide to the map layout.

While the Bloated Miller's attacks are simple and slow, it's most devastating attack is the unblockable vertical slash. Be prepared to dodge sideways when the boss glows red to prepare this attack.
