There's another code for single battle 6350 4649 63 means 6 choose 3 50 means level50 4649 is よろしく in Japanese Some of them use 6450 4649 for doubles

I don't think link battles update your Pokedex. You'll have to go see them yourself. You don't need to actually battle mesprit to see it, but the other two you'll have to battle.
