Exchange for TMs

You can exchange your Red Shards for TMs by going to Route 212 and looking for the house of the Shard Lady. She will ask for ten Red Shards in exchange for a TM.

Pokemon BDSP Grand Underground Digging

Red Shard is obtainable by digging in the Grand Underground. Use your pickaxe first to confirm the item before completely digging it out with your sledgehammer. The chances of getting them is relatively low, so be patient when it comes to digging!

I agree. Collect colored shards just to get weather TMs? Most Pokémon have abilities that help with that. Completely useless. They should have not added D/P's colored shard mechanics. However, Platinum's colored shard mechanics was amazing. They should have included that and 90% of the Platinum content in the remakes.
