Yeah, I've confirmed this now, you are not guaranteed to get a post-National Dex daily Pokemon. This makes catching that last one you need all the most obnoxious.

I used the binoculars about 50 times and didn't see a single post-National Dex daily Pokemon. I'm starting to think the Marsh isn't always guaranteed to have one, or the list is wrong.

Probably the worst thing in the game. "Let's take away the possibility of reducing the enemy's HP and make them be able to run away". Probable the dumbest idea no one has ever had for a Pokémon gam

There is a hidden rare candy in the top left corner of area 1.

The Ultra Ball in Area 3 is a hidden Item. Use the Dowsing App to find it.

I should clarify, that although 'special' pokemon can appear in more than one area, the six I listed appeared with each other and with other specials in the same area. For example, a Kangaskhan and Quagsire both appeared in area 6 on day two. Kangaskhan is the special spawn for sure, and Quagsire is part of the general encounter table.

Azurill, Marill, Wooper, Quagsire, Bidoof and Bibarel are NOT included in the daily 'Special' spawns. They are part of the general encounter table. I tested this by looking through the telescope 100 times in one day, three days in a row. All of the six pokemon listed above appeared in all six areas of the great marsh on all three days. Please update :) One odd thing though, is that Carnivine and Roselia also appeared in multiple areas on each day, but I am not convinced they are supposed to.

The Bait and Mud effects are switched. From an NPC inside the Marsh: "Throwing food at Pokemon makes it easier to catch them, but while eating it, they are likely to bolt. Throwing mud at a Pokemon makes it harder to catch, but it'll also get angry and become less likely to bolt."
