I have a shiny milotic statue
So whats the point of having different statues if it only increases the type appearance rate and doesnt affect whether or not you can find that pokemon in the underground? Ex: Infernape statues only increase the appearance of fire types (which is literally 2 pokemon) not allow you to find Infernape in hideaways. Statues are purely cosmetic...

I saw a milotic statue in someone’s base when exploring online in grand underground
I got a togepi statue from a fairy box
I've found an Azumaril in a pretty stone box - Water ;)
I found a shiny gliscor statue it's for ground
I’ve dug up 2 magmortar statues from fire boxes so you can put that on the list
I've dug up two Salamance Statues and a Garchomp Statue (one of the Salamance and the Garchomp were shiny statues). All three were dragon type boxes
