Effect An item to be held by Pikachu. It's a puzzling orb that boosts its Attack and Sp. Atk stats.

Can Be Used To Get Volt Tackle

The Pikachu evolutionary line learns their signature move, Volt Tackle as a special Egg Move. You will need to breed for a Pichu with one of the parents holding the Light Ball.

Take the compatible parents necessary and make one of them hold the Light Ball. Place them both in the Nursery until you receive an Egg. This egg will hatch into a Pichu with Volt Tackle.

Increase Chances by using a Pokemon with Super Luck

We recommend bringing a Pokemon such as Absol, with the Super Luck Ability which increases the chance for Wild Pokemon to have a held item. Absol can also learn the move Thief to take the item from the opponent without the need of catching it. Just make sure Absol isn't holding any items beforehand.
