The trick is to start digging right after person starts digging and finish before them. Dont worry about the treasure, just get your hammer and start pounding away. I dont know how many times ive tried but when i did this, mission completed

can anyone better explain what they are doing for the final underground man mission? Going by what everyone says, i have done it 14 times so far. He still won't accept, i even got there literally the second someone started and he still won't accept it. Do you need a certain badge first, does it have to do with the region of the person, etc.
