Rare Pure Gold can be mined from Moonstone and Gigantic Moonstone found all throughout Solisium. Pay attention to your minimap to see if any Moonstone nodes are nearby while you're out exploring the open world.
Note: Moonstone nodes can also be found inside Co-Op Dungeons and they can be mined similar to Moonstone found in the open world.
