Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2)

How to Get Eternal Wakestone

Add to Watchlist

Dragon

The Eternal Wakestone allows you to revive multiple NPCs in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Here, you'll learn how to get the Eternal Wakestone and its effects.

How to Get Eternal Wakestone

Defeat the Sphinx

Dragon

The Eternal Wakestone is locked in a large chest behind the Sphinx. To unlock it, you'll need to get the Key of Sagacity which is dropped by the Sphinx guarding it. It's best to finish the other riddles first or you won't be able to unlock the other chests.

Sphinx Riddle Solutions and Location

Can Also Be Forged After Obtaining It

Dragon
Once acquired, the Eternal Wakestone can be duplicated by requesting a forgery from Ibrahim’s Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town for 30,000 G. Unlike regular Wakestones, which are forged into Wokestones, a forged Eternal Wakestone functions identically to the original.

Players can carry up to 99 Eternal Wakestones, effectively allowing an unlimited supply as long as forgery costs are paid.

Eternal Wakestone Effects

Revives Multiple NPCs

Contrary to its name, the Eternal Wakestone is not reusable and is a single-use item. When used, it revives multiple dead NPCs within the surrounding area in one activation.

Eternal Wakestone has Revival Range Limitations

The Eternal Wakestone only revives NPCs within a certain range of the activation point. NPCs that are too far away or whose bodies have already been transferred to a morgue may not be revived.

Effective Against Dragonsplague Outbreaks

If a Pawn succumbs to a Dragonsplauge and wipes out all NPCs in a town after an inn rest, the Eternal Wakestone can revive all affected NPCs at once, preventing the need to use multiple regular Wakestones.

Can Be Given as a Gift

The Eternal Wakestone can be gifted to NPCs. Giving this item grants 500 favor points to NPCs that like the item, making it one of the most effective gifts for quickly raising affinity.

I only want the ket for the final chest idc about other rewards is that possible?

It does NOT have infinite uses. It is a single use but for everyone nearby. Use it outside the regional Morgue and it will tell you how many people it will resurrect. (You can't use it indoors as it will hit the ceiling like the Ferrystones do)
