One (1) Unmaking Arrow can be bought for eight (8) Wyrmslife Crystals (WLC) from the Dragonforged at the Way Bayside Shrine north of Bakbattahl.

In order to get to Bay Wayside Shrine, you first need to reach Bakbattahl, which is accessed by passing through Checkpoint Rest Town and progressing through the main quest Nation of the Lambent Flame.

From Bakbattahl, head northeast and follow the indicated path past the Riftstone of Remembrance till you reach Bay Wayside Shrine. Here, you will find the Dragonforged, who you interact with as part of the Flickering Shadows main quest.

Solve Sphinx's Riddle of Recollection

When solving this Sphinx's riddle at the Mountain Shrine, carry a number of statues to the Sphinx corresponding to the riddles currently solved up to this point. You can look at the total number of chests that have been unlocked also as a reference for this.

Once the riddle has been solved, head over to the unlocked chest to obtain the Unmaking Arrow.

Find the Sphinx at the Mountain Shrine

The Sphinx can be found at the Mountain Shrine north of the Ancient Battleground. You can get there by passing through either the Misty Marshes or through the Worldsend Cavern.

Of the two, going through the Worldsend Cavern generally yields more rewards. It is also closer to Oskar who gives the Tolled to Rest quest for unlocking the vault housing the Infernal Edge duospear.

Unmaking Arrows cannot be used with Magick Bows.

A bow is needed for using the Unmaking Arrow and is equipped like every other arrow in your inventory's implements.

Open up your inventory, select and equip the Unmaking Arrow, then use Steady Shot to aim and shoot at the enemy. Upon hit, the target will be instantly defeated. This works for any enemy or boss such as Gigantus.

Make sure to save this item for crucial moments since it is extremely scarce with only two known sources to acquire it.

Game Autosaves When Used

Take note that the game will autosave when the Unmaking Arrow is used as noted in its in-game description.

It is best to use this item when you are sure you have wrapped up any time-sensitive quests or other related affairs that you cannot easily backtrack.
